There's a little, furry form
Curled, asleep at my feet
It's little sides heave gently
For it's tuckered out and beat
With teeth like tiny needles
A tongue both warm and wet
It's tiny eyes won my heart
The first time that we met
With feet too big for its body
And a bladder way too small
A comical sight in the yard
As it answers nature's call
Playtime is an adventure
Running, tripping over its ears
Watching it chase its tail
I laugh til it brings me tears
But the thing that i like the most
Is the trait that it shows from above
Holding it close, it licks my face
With an unconditional love
