The Miracle

Miracles happen all the time

Some are fleeting, while others stay

One has withstood the ages

When that stone was rolled away

To some it’s trivial, means nothing

Saying it’s not pertinent for today

They scoff, consider it a fairy tale

When that stone was rolled away

Others say they want to believe

Making a commitment, always delay

Can’t get it through their heads

That a stone was rolled away

Then others, they are lukewarm

Show up at church on Easter Day

Once again hear the miraculous story

How a stone was rolled away

But to me, it’s always a miracle

And my faith I humbly display

Because Jesus arose, left that tomb

When that stone was rolled away
