Taking A Shower

I want to take a shower

Stand beneath that Heavenly flow

Feel His power restore me

As it saturates ever so slow

I want to be totally cleansed

Have Satan’s filth washed away

Be a perfect living example

Of a restored piece of clay

I want to be Heavenly molded

Into what I’m supposed to be

I want that Heavenly shower

To make a brand new me

I want to be so squeaky clean

Both on the inside and out

I want people to know

I’ve been changed, there’s no doubt

I will stand there forever

If that is what it takes

I want it to forever change me

Into something real, not fake

Heavenly Father, I am ready

To get inside and outside wet

Please keep those showers coming

You’re not done with me yet
